What is NO-BURN®?
NO-BURN® products are a new form of fire retardants called fire reactants. These products all contain patented high tech formulas that when applied to porous surfaces greatly reduce the chance of a fire starting or spreading. NO-BURN® products are non-toxic, non carcinogenic and non-staining. Rigorous testing on the NO-BURN® product line has been done by several third party labs and government testing facilities in both Canada and the United States.

These tests prove that NO-BURN® products are safe and effective as a fire reactant in both residential and commercial applications. A list of product testing and specifications can be made available to you for any products your structure has been treated with or that you request.
 
HOW FIRE WORKS AND HOW NO-BURN DEFENDS AGAINST IT?
In order for fire to exist it needs three primary components. These three components are ignition source, fuel and oxygen; when these three components are present they create a sustained chemical reaction that you call fire. When one or more of these components are taken away from the equation a fire is unable to start or spread.

NO-BURN® takes away both fuel and Oxygen:
- fuel is taken away by NO-BURN® rapidly charring the exterior of the wood causing a carbon char barrier not allowing the fire to penetrate into the wood.

- oxygen is replaced with carbon dioxide in a rapid chemical reaction when heat or fire come into contact with NO-BURN® products, this snuffs the existing flame out not allowing it to spread.
